How to get there: Take the free Furusato Kanko Hotel shuttle bus departing from the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal every 30 minutes from 8:45am to 5pm (no service 12:20-2:20pm).
Otherwise, take the Kagoshima Kotsu Bus that departs once an hour from the ferry terminal, costing ¥290 ($2.40/£1.20) for the 15-minute trip.
