How to get there: From Aoyama-Itchome (Exit 2 or A1), walk up Gaien-Higashi-dori, alongside the wall of the Imperial Guesthouse garden.

The entrance to Meiji Kinenkan is on the right after about five minutes. From Shinanomachi, turn left as you leave the station, cross the railway and it’s a two-minute walk. When you reach the front door of the Meiji Kinenkan main hall, follow the signs to the Kinkei Lounge, and then wait in line.

This place is offers a completely different atmosphere to many of the other beer gardens around Tokyo. The manicured gardens at Sekirei offers within the ground of Meiji Kinenkan offer a unique and tranquil atmosphere which make you think you have left the hussle and bussle of Tokyo.

Apparently they no longer take reservations and the system is a first in first seated approach, so it is probably a good idea to get there before 17:30 (their opening time).
