Location: Takaosan Guchi Station, 45 minutes from the Keio Line, Shinjuku Station

Takao Beer Garden, officially known as Takao Beer Mount, is one of the most popular sites along the Keio Line. It offers visitors a panoramic view of Tokyo and Yokohama. The Beer Mount is popular not only with beer drinkers and couples, but is also a favorite with families.

It is particularly popular with young women. The Beer Mount is a six-minute ride in the scenic cable car that leaves from the Kyotaki Cable Car Station, located a three-minute walk from the Keio Takaosan Guchi Station (45 minutes from the Keio Line, Shinjuku Station).

Beer garden season: July 1 to Sept. 30 (open every day, including rainy days.)
Hours: 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm (last cable car departure time: 9.40 pm). * Open at 2:30 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and between Aug. 13 and 15. (Buffet is available for only two hours, with no overtime on the above days)
Description: All you can eat and drink buffet. Maximum buffet time is two hours. (Extra charge for overtime)
Seating capacity: 700 people (on rainy days 200 to 300 people)
